Your job is to research Florence and create a modern styled brochure to give information on what a traveler in the 1500’s would encounter if they were to go to Florence.
Remember what type of information might be helpful for a traveler to know when they visit a new place for the first time. Keep in mind who has commissioned this brochure and highlight what would be important from their point of view. Your descriptions are to be creative while still maintaining historically accuracy.
You will be given three class periods to use the computer for research and to create your brochure. Brochures must be completed by the end of class on Thursday, October 23, 2008 and saved to \\hs12\ClassFiles\Black\World History 08-09\Renaissance Brochures . The Office Technologies students will print them.
A bibliography/works cited page will need to be handed in on Thursday. Use the product rubric provided for the timelines and cut the number of sources in half.
